Privacy
This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other servers; the fonts are served from this site. It keeps an anonymized access statistic, described below.
Who is responsible
Michael Ludwig, Karlstraße 3, 72072 Tübingen, Germany, [email protected].
Access statistics
When you open a page, the web server records:
- your IP address, anonymized when it is recorded (the last part removed)
- the date and time of the request
- the address requested (domain and path)
- the HTTP status code (whether the request succeeded)
- browser type and version, operating system and device type
- your browser’s preferred language
- the referrer (the page you came from)
- the country the request comes from
- the server’s response time
- a pseudonymous visitor identifier that changes every day and cannot be linked across days
This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data sources and is kept only as an anonymized access statistic.
Hosting
The website runs on servers of Exoscale (Akenes SA, Boulevard de Grancy 19A, 1006 Lausanne, Switzerland) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where the access statistics are stored as well. Exoscale processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
Cloudflare
This website uses the content delivery and security service Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as a processor according to Art. 28 GDPR. Cloudflare processes connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect this website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Display settings
When you change the color theme, light and dark mode or the language, your browser stores the choice in its local storage, so the next page shows it too. The setting never leaves your device, and you can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser.
When you write to us, we use your address and your message to answer, and keep them as long as the conversation needs, or as long as the law requires (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).
No disclosure to third parties
Apart from the processors named above, no personal data is passed on, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties, unless the law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). To exercise them, write to [email protected].
Right to complain
You can complain to a data protection authority about how we process your personal data, for example to the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
