9systems is building infrastructure for data resilience and sovereignty. The starting point is a storage layer that distributes your data across independent cloud providers, with no single point of failure, no lock-in, and no provider you have to trust. Not even 9systems.
Who’s behind it
9systems was founded by Dr. Michael Ludwig, based near Stuttgart, Germany. His background is in computer science, with hands-on experience at SAP, where he worked on the HANA database engine. Today he works as a data engineer at Bosch, advising the company on data and AI at every level, from project teams to top management.
